Clean Mob

Born out of the need to address the litter in our city beyond our annual Beautify Niagara Clean Sweep, the NBC CleanMob performs a one-hour clean-up of a designated area that needs attention. Our motto: “1 Hour: Show Up. Clean Up. Wrap Up” is just that–a quick way to make a big impact with a dynamic group of individuals dedicated to cleaning up the city. One hour of everyone getting together to deep clean one area and then a celebratory social hour afterward! All bags and gloves provided by the Niagara Beautification Commission.

We sometimes visit the same areas, called CDAs (short for “Chronic Debris Areas,” as we like to call them) or take on a different task such as weeding and planting flowers.

CleanMobs will be held from June – October on the 1st first and 3rd Thursdays @ 6:15pm.
